This 66 Shelby Mustang is 1 of the 1000 original cars Shelby built for the Hertz car rental company. These muscle cars quickly became known as the "Rent-A-Racer." If you were older than 24 years old and could afford to pay $17.00 per day and $.17 per mile, you were able to drive one of the fastest cars available at that time.
