This 66 Shelby Mustang is 1 of the 1000 original cars Shelby built for the Hertz car rental company. This car, serial number SFM 6S1949, was rescued in 1977 after it had been stolen, stripped, and partially burned. It took a four-year restoration to return it to its original condition.
